Why it matters. Kitchen projects touch three regulated trades at once. Electrical alterations fall under Part P of the Building Regulations, gas appliance work must be done by a Gas Safe engineer, and water fittings must comply with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations. We sequence certified trades so each element is signed off correctly.
